Beautiful Antique 19th Century Chinese Jiaqing Ornately Gilt Bronze Oil or Water Jar / Bottle with Cover. Jiaqing, or possibly Tongzhi, 4 character Qing Dynasty Mark and appears to be of the period. Gold gilt floral scrollwork with a Fu symbol on one side near the top and a poem on the other side. Lots of subject and textural interest. Circa Early to mid 1800s. China. As-is, untested.
Approx. 3" (7.63cm) Tall to the top of the cover not counting the Handle X 5" (12.7cm) Diameter at the Widest. Good previously owned antique condition. Some signs of age or use including marks, loss of finish, tarnish, dust/dirt and shelf wear to the foot. A few small dings, but none worth noting. See the photos.
